Directions

Class will begin promptly at 10:00 am. Please plan your time accordingly to get from the parking lot (or the MARTA station) to the mart, to registration and to the classroom. It is important to arrive early to allow yourself time to get settled before class begins.

Directions to AmericasMart-Atlanta, Merchandise Mart, Building #1:
Take 75/85 South or North to the Williams Street Exit.

• Proceed straight on Williams Street to Andrew Young International Blvd.
• Make a left onto Andrew Young International Blvd.
• Immediately bear right and proceed to the light at Spring Street.
• Make a left onto Spring Street.
• Cross back over Andrew Young International. (You’ve just made a loop).
• Ahead on your right (opposite corner from the Westin) you will see Building #1 of AmericasMart, but the garage you want to park in will be on your left (just passed Haveli restaurant) and will say “Gift Mart Parking”.

This is a very safe and secure lot, but is somewhat expensive at about $2/hour ($10 maximum). You are welcome to park there, but during nice-weather days, you may want to park in a nearby outdoor lot for considerably less. It’s up to you.

If you park in the Gift Mart garage, park your car and take the garage elevator to “Level A” (RED).

Once on Level A, enter the mart doors and follow the signs to Building #1, Merchandise Mart. Then follow the signs to Building #1 Registration Lobby. (Do not go towards the Westin) You want to go to the Harris Street lobby. There are two lobbies...BE SURE YOU ARE IN THE CORRECT ONE.

Your name is in the registration system under Vanguard School of Interior Design. You must show a picture ID, i.e. driver’s license. Once you obtain your badge, take the elevators to the 19th floor.

You will find us in space #14-D-7 on the 14th Floor of Building #1. Once on the 14th floor, walking away from the restroom doors, TURN RIGHT into the "D Corridor". The school is located down the hall on the left.

Your other option is to take MARTA:
Take MARTA to the Peachtree Center Station. Peachtree Center is located on Peachtree Street directly across from the Merchandise Mart, Building #1. Once you are up on the street level, you can’t miss it! You can enter the building from Peachtree Street or Harris Street. The students who take MARTA to class LOVE IT. They don’t have to fight the traffic, and it’s cheap!
